Very often, I get asked "Do you kayak/surf/para-glide/sky-dive?" I can only claim to have surfed if you mean "to stand up on a board while being pushed forward by a wave" - there wasn't a whole lot of steering involved. But really, all these other sports sound really cool, but they're another drain on what is a rather limited income right now - all my money earned by guiding skiing and climbing turns around to buy climbing and skiing gear!
