Teaching the Teachers

Just a week after teaching an AIARE 1 Course, I attended an AIARE Instructor Refresher Course - a mandatory component for AIARE-certified instructors every other year.  Saturday covered curriculum updates and presentation workshops for AIARE 1 courses from Margaret Wheeler, Larry Goldie, and Scott Schell; Margaret and Larry also lead the AIARE 2 portion on Sunday.

After 5 years of teaching only one or two courses a year (if at all) - I'm making a concerted effort to really own the material and increase my expertise at teaching the recreational and professional AIARE curriculums.  This was a great big step towards that goal.
