Its funny how age changes our attitudes about climbing. When I was in my 20's I was so poor that a trip like this couldn't have happened. When I turned 30 I thought something like this was "cheating". Now I'm turning 40 in September and I'm taking notes of what my friend Dave and his two partners accomplished. My "life window", as he calls it, is getting shorter and my wish-list of places to go and ski and climb and run has only grown. It's going to take efforts like his to get some things done.

On Sunday, 13 May, I left home for Mt Logan to guide a trip up the King's Trench. So there won't be a lot of new content while I'm gone. But I saw this just a few days before I left.
