Just a few hours ago I finished reading John Harlin III's The Eiger Obsession.  Then just a half-hour ago I checked up on my friends on Facebook, and discovered a friend had posted up an inspiration short movie of Ueli Steck setting a new speed solo record on the Eiger's North Face Classic Route.

As my focus is on my skiing and the upcoming AMGA Ski Mountain Guide Certification Exam, my alpine season won't start for another month.  But anticipation is butterflying in my stomach right now...
