Surf, Stone, and Sighs | Deep Water Soloing
So I left Bishop yesterday for Salt Lake City, to attend the 2010 Summer Outdoor Retailer Show. I've been thinking of the ocean lately, remembering when I was surfing and living on San Diego's North County coast, just a few blocks away from the water. And this video just added to the dream. Now I'm not young anymore, and I'm not ripped, and I don't climb 5.14, 5.13, or 5.12. But Alex and Cedar do a fantastic job of making an every-climber video out of really steep, really hard, and really high on the limestone cliffs of Mallorca, Spain, combining two of the worlds I love the most: the water and the stone.
