Its hard to stay motivated.  Especially when you're hurt.  I shattered my lower left leg in 2002, and picked up my first climbing gym membership at Vertical World when I got out of the hospital.  Not because I could climb - I could barely stand up - but because watching everyone else climb while I was lifting weights reminded me of what I could be doing instead, and would be doing as soon as I could get this cast off.  But you don't need a gym - a pull-up bar may be enough.  Or a stairwell.
