Another sign of winter approaching - do you see them? My friend John Scurlock caught this moment above Hozomeen Mountain, and wrote:
This image was obtained late today when I was at Hozomeen. I spotted the geese when they were well north of the mountain, and eventually they passed just to the west of South Hozomeen. They were traveling at an altitude of about 8000 feet or perhaps a bit higher. Even though I was hundreds of feet above them, I could tell they were altering their behavior because of my presence, so I didn't persist much in photographing them.
